I have an Nvidia card (9500M GS) and the opensolaris live cd kicks me out to
console. I've tried booting in vesa and reconfiguring Xorg (/usr/bin/X11/Xorg
-configure) and starting the xserver (/usr/X11/bin/xinit /usr/bin/dbus-launch
gnome-session -- /usr/X11/bin/Xorg –config /jack/xorg.conf.new :0) with no
luck. I always get:

(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.

Fatal server error:
no screens found

This is a Hybrid SLI card... I've had this issue in Ubuntu and it was resolved
in a later release of the Nvidia drivers. On the opensolaris site, this card is
supported.

Strangely, Solaris will start and install but I have a hard time installing the
network drivers because I need the ath9k module or solaris equivalent.

Can the opensolaris gurus help me out? I'll post my /var/log/Xorg.0.log when I
can get it copied to a USB drive.

Thanks.
