i get this message :
# /opt/csw/bin/pkg-get -i vlc
Error: dependancies for vlc not up to date.
You may call pkg-get again with '-v -u vlc' to see which ones
Or, call pkg-get with 'upgrade' to bring all installed pkgs up to date
i upgraded all packges :
#/opt/csw/bin/pkg-get -u
and still the same error!!..:(
If you know what the package's system name is; ie. full name that OSol
recognizes it by then you can use the pkgrm command.
Your package should be something like CSWvlc or so...
You can find out by typing pkginfo -l | grep vlc
Then pkgrm it and that should get you going for Blastwave..... provided
that the Blastwave servers are still accepting external communications
as the last I heard after the Oracle transition completed they where
defunct and non-functional.
Give it a go anyhow and let's see, you might get lucky :-)
