if I go in failsafe terminal, I get the terminal and it is fine. Finally, the
Q: is there a way to load the ethernet driver from terminal and force it to
rescan the hardware and get what it needs for the new mobo from IPS?

Thanks everybody.

(BTW windows was able to load and after a series of 'new hardware' messages it
