Hello.

I have OpenSolaris b134 running. I have a USB keyboard and mouse
attached, and they stop responding shortly after the graphical login
screen is presented. So quickly do they stop responding that most
time I can't even start to type my username. Normally that's not a
problem as I access the server by SSH anyway.

However I am now unable to copy large amounts of data off my ZFS pool
(shared via CIFS) over the network. The network card is an Intel
gigabit dual port PCIE NIC. This is the first time I've tried copying
large amounts of data over the network so I suspect it's not a new
error.

The server is set to DHCP and the router is set to return a static IP
for the host name. That works fine. When I do a large file copy I
can see the server drop off the list of active clients, and about a
minute later it's not accessible over the network :( That kills my
file copy :(

I am new to OpenSolaris and not used to administering it. How do I
begin to fix this?

Michelle
