You're confusing Solaris 10 and OpenSolaris there.
OpenSolaris is a newer branch of the OS (based on the under-development 5.11
kernel, and other newer components) than Solaris 10 (based on the 5.10 kernel).
All versions of Solaris 10 are fully supported, but you will need a support
contract in order to get fixes for them.
