Hi, Solaris 11 uses the (IPS) image package management system. The old patching mechanisms no longer apply and are not supported. To see the kernel build info, look at "uname -a" and to see the revision level for the packages do a "pkg list -a". From that you'll be able to see if you have any packages that are out of date.

Or is there any alternative way like some file etc by which I can collect the same information as provided by showrev. Thanks, PS -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list opensolaris-help@opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list opensolaris-help@opensolaris.org
