Hi,

Solaris 11 uses the (IPS) image package management system. The old patching
mechanisms no longer apply and are not supported. To see the kernel build info,
look at "uname -a" and to see the revision level for the packages do a "pkg
list
-a". From that you'll be able to see if you have any packages that are out of
date.

Subject: [osol-help] showrev and patchadd on SunOS 5.11

Hi all,

I wanted to know that is there any equivalent of showrev and patchedd on Sol 11
as these commands were present on Sol 10.
Or is there any alternative way like some file etc by which I can collect the
same information as provided by showrev.

Thanks,
PS
