Dear dre2kse

Thank you for the assistance I've finally managed to get ntfs-3g compiled,
installed and working. Just one question what is s3fs?

Just to assist anybody else reading this email train there are a couple of
'gotcha's' to lookout for.

1. perform everything as su or root; it just makes things easier
2. unpacking SUNWonbld does not create SUNWonbld it creates a normal directory
'onbld' in which you will find a directory tree ./opt which needs to be copied
into the root directory /opt
3. to compile fusefs move into the kernel directory and type ../../xsconf.fuse
m to compile the code.
4. don't forget to run xsconf.fuse with mp to create the packages.
5. move both the SUNWfusefs and SUNWlibfuse packages into the same directory
then run pkgadd -d . to load both together.
6. copy ntfs-3g-2011.1.15 into the same fuse directory tree as the fuse and
libfuse (its easier)
7. cd to ntfs-3g-2011.1.15
8. run ./configure
9. run ../xsconf.g4s3fs m
10 run ../xsconf.g4s3fs mi
 then play.

Hope this helps and once again thanks.

John
