Hello I sent an email earlier but i am not sure I addrred it to the right place.
I am unable to have my external usb HD to moiunt and wonder how to go about it. 

the device is detected as shown in /var/message:

when i try to see it using he file viewer it alway tell me it can not nount it. 
This disk iis formated NTFS ,, could that be the problem ?
do I need to mount manually .. If yes how do I do that  I know the command will 
be similar to  
mount -F ntfs /dev/dsk/the divice) to  /mnt/(a file )

Coud I please be assist on how to fix that
