So, I`ve upgraded to snv123. What happened:

cool
- USB soundcard worked! yahooo! Songbird immediately began to use usb device
for output, in xmms I needed to tweak the output plugin.
- movies with mplayer also could be used with USB soundcard. I used "mplayer
-ao oss:/dev/dsp1 ..."

not so cool
- system is in highly loaded state, I dunno why it happens. Seems, like it`s
known problem. But in powertop I see this:

Top causes for wakeups:
59.1% (1000.0) <interrupt> : uhci#1

could this be related to USB audio device?

- when I listen to music while browsing inet, or doing something apart from
listening, sound sometimes interrupts for a very short period of time. nice -20
eradicates about 90% of this interrupts, but they still persist.

- how to tell firefox/flash to use USB audio? they still playing through
internal speakers.

- how to tell winxp in VirtualBox to use USB device? I see only null/Solaris
audio in VBox settings...

In general, seems like the USB audio devices are operational in recent versions
in Opensolaris, but not to the extent to be used for dj`ing due to interrupts
mentioned above.

But! This is a progress indeed - Garret, thank you for your efforts, kudos goes
to you in ohloh.net :)

Thank you
