Do this:
$ /usr/ccs/bin/what /opt/SUNWspro/SC5.0/bin/iropt |grep VERSION
RELEASE VERSION WorkShop Compilers 5.0 99/02/25 Compiler Common 5.0 Patch 107357-01

If it doesn't have the patch number on the end then you need it. I thought
I remembered we added a note in Configure that this patch is needed, but I
don't see it now.
