First of all Hi to everyone im new in this list, and realy I'm in it for a very urgent matter, so please forgive my ignorance. I have a little problem with an automated connection with an https site. I need to reach this site using a Data General UNIX machine, to download a file and then close the connection behind me. The problem is that the administrator of the https site requires that I use SSL for our transfer and connection. I have never worked with SSL in the past and the only direction that I have is that I can use a PERL module to generate the script that we need to get the secure layer mounted over TCP/IP and execute our FTP command. How can this be done? With PERL or any other product I'm willing to dedicate a machine to this alone with any O.S. We are blind in this matter and will highly appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.
