Yes I've sent a large list of bugs some of which allow Communicator to
be crashed by email and there isn't any interest in fixing before the
next release and maybe not even then. I received the impression that
things only really get done if a big client complains or the bug
receives enough embarassing publicity.

If you look at some of the Netscape newsgroups you'll find one of the
most common messages is about Netscape's database being corrupted
forcing you to delete it and start again. This has been the case for
several months.

Maybe they are hoping someone will add the security features back into
Mozilla and save them the effort.
