Hello :)
I'm using Key Manager under IIS for Win NT to generate CSRs to send off to
VeriSign. When I create a new key pair, the only way of exporting it is by
doing a backup from the Keys menu. This is fine but it generates a ".key"
file that I can't seem to run through any other utility.
I've tried importing this file into PGP Keys and also running it through the
OpenSSL utilities but I just can't convert this file to any other format.
Does anyone know the format of the ".key" file ??
The reason I'm doing this is that I'm working on a Windows program that
requires a VeriSign Secure Server ID (SSID) on the Client and a PGP secure
keyring file on the server. The SSID I can easily obtain from VeriSign but
I then have to convert the ".key" file to a PGP .skr file and can't find a
way of doing it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
