AFAIK there isn't a project as yet and a few other things need doing to
make adding new public key algorithms easier. However if you want to
write some code which implements EC-DSA, EC-DH or parameter generation
then feel free...
Do you have any examples of EC certificates BTW? I haven't seen any so
far.
