I am attempting to use OpenSSL without RSA encryption of any sort (don't
want to pay RSA Royalties). I currently have NO PRODUCT because I can't get
OpenSSL to work with the non-RSA Certificates/Keys that I generate with the
OpenSSL utility (it fails in ssl3_choose_cipher(...), and I can't decipher
the code fast enough to solve the problem in time).
I also am very cloudy on how Authentication, CAs, etc. works, and I have to
request Certificates from and Authenticate Clients. I am writing both the
Server and the Client software, so we have control over all aspects of the
project, and I will be generating both the Client and Server Certificates
in-house. This is unrelated to browsers, HTML, etc. - this is for
proprietary use only.
My boss wants a solution BY MONDAY.
We will pay $100/hr for QUALIFIED consulting today, over the weekend, and
possibly into next week if required.
