There's work being done on something called an "engine", which is
currently implementing support for a few hardware devices: nCipher/nForce,
CryptoSwift and Atalla.  Support for Luna may be added soon as well,
depending on if I get to play with that or not.

For now, the "engine" part is a branch in the OpenSSL cvs repository
(called BRANCH_engine), and has it's own snapshots.  As it looks right
now, a merge into the main trunk may come in a not too far future.
Don't hold me responsible if it doesn't happen as I say, though :-).
