I got a similar problem with opensll version 0.9.5a and Mac IE 5.0.
Can someone please help us out here ... the argument that Mac IE 5.0 
is a very bad browser and that nobody should use doesn't seem to 
satisfy my boss, and anyhow I believe there is a way it must work as 
the browser works fine with the site https://www.apache-ssl.org and I 
presume they are using openSSL as well (;-)).
