Yesterday, I had a quick look at the optimized code (for fst24) at the
official Rijndael site and it states as follows:
 "This code is placed in the public domain."
with no other limitations.

specific.  Sure we could implement the code, except for right now -
solely as a standalone algorithm, with nothing to do with ssl/tls
specific.  No sense in perpetuating a dss(a) fiasco again.  I think
Richard's faced enough oid aggrevation for today ;-)
