I am trying to build shared libraries under HP-UX for OpenSSL 0.9.6. I
have all of the object files built and libcrypto.a and libssl.a
created. The command I am using to build the shared library is:
/usr/ccs/bin/ld -b +h libcrypto.so.0 -o libcrypto.so.0.9.6 libcrypto.a -ldld
Now, OpenSSL's shared library build procedure assumes the host linker
has an option to suck all of the objects in an archive library into
the shared library. I cannot find such an option under HP-UX. Anyone
know what it is?
And, if such an option does not exist, what is the solution?
