Of course I spent some time thinking about good concise descriptions,
but then I decided that once you spend some time looking at those
functions it's obvious that they are fundamentally flawed, while
describing how exactly the current implementations can fail isn't
quite straight-forward and probably wouldn't even help a lot for
repairing them.
