From: Brian Martin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [I move this discussion to openssl-dev, because it is about developping OpenSSL itself] bmartin> I'm trying to install openssl-0.9.6 on a Mac OS X Server bmartin> platform. The make command yields the following error: I got an account not long ago in a Darwin machine, and hit some trouble immediately hindering me even to get as far as you. It appears that the compiler will look at system headers first no matter what (although there are a bunch of switches to tell it to do otherwise, but I didn't get that to work), and if (an older) OpenSSL is installed, there therefore seems to be no way to have it use the include files in the source directory before looking at the files in the system include directory... I recall someone else saying the same thing on this list (or was it openssl-users?) some time ago, and would like to know if that person came to any conclusion or result in this matter? That would help me greatly to go forward and check that the possibly fixes for the ftime() problem actually work). -- Richard Levitte \ Spannvgen 38, II \ [EMAIL PROTECTED] Chairman@Stacken \ S-168 35 BROMMA \ T: +46-8-26 52 47 Redakteur@Stacken \ SWEDEN \ or +46-709-50 36 10 Procurator Odiosus Ex Infernis -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] Member of the OpenSSL development team: http://www.openssl.org/ Software Engineer, Celo Communications: http://www.celocom.com/ Unsolicited commercial email is subject to an archival fee of $400.
