I have set up a web-page on elliptic curve extensions to OpenSSL.

See http://users.pandora.be/stes/ecc.html for further information.

The "patch" for OpenSSL, available at that web-page, includes a new
command :

  stes@gecko>./openssl ecc
  c47n23r1:secp112r1:secp384r1:sect113r1:sect163k1

This new openssl ecc command lists "nicknames" of curves that are
implemented. For example, c47n23r1 is a curve over a Galois field with
47^23 elements and sect113r1 is a curve over the field with 2^113
elements.

The README.ELLIPTIC that's in the patch, documents further changes that
I'm doing to OpenSSL to support ECC (elliptic curve cryptography).
