subjectAltName truncating IPv6 address to IPv4

It appears that (haven't not yet looked at the code) IPv6 addresses
aren't currently supported in OpenSSL certs in subjectAltName.  Is
this the case?  Or is the problem in the 'openssl ca' command line
parsing?
