From: "John P. Looney" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> john> I was wondering - is there version of 0.9.7 with the AEP engine john> merged into it yet ? Is there likely to be in the future ?
It's not in there, no. The ENGINE framework has changed quite a bit for 0.9.7, and among others allow dynamically loaded engines (they can come as separate shared libraries). This means that it might not need to be included in OpenSSL, but may be downloaded from the board manufacturer and simply "plugged in". -- Richard Levitte \ Spannvägen 38, II \ [EMAIL PROTECTED] Redakteur@Stacken \ S-168 35 BROMMA \ T: +46-8-26 52 47 \ SWEDEN \ or +46-733-72 88 11 Procurator Odiosus Ex Infernis -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] Member of the OpenSSL development team: http://www.openssl.org/ Software Engineer, GemPlus: http://www.gemplus.com/ Unsolicited commercial email is subject to an archival fee of $400.
