xlc can't recognize the MAXMEM option because it doesn't exist for this version of the compiler. I had assumed that I would be able to build the code anyway. I looked at the man page for xlc and there didn't seem to be any equivalent for maxmem. Any advice on how to deal with the the err.c compilation errors? Can I just leave it out of the build?
