I've put together an OpenSSL 0.9.6h package using GNU autoconf, available
from:
        http://site.rpi-acm.org/info/openssl/

I have limited access to different platforms to test it on (the list is on
that page), so I'm looking for people interested in working on fine-tuning
it. I believe moving OpenSSL to autoconf is needed in the long run,
especially with the emergence of install-from-source environments and to
eventually allow portions of OpenSSL to be included within other packages.

Please contact me directly at <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> if you are interested in
working on this.
