I am getting an error with OpenSSL 0.9.7 when trying to generate a certificate. It appears that the uniqueIdentifier is no longer valid. Is this correct?
The following is the error: Certificate request failed Certification Request Failed /usr/local/ssl/bin/openssl ca -config /usr/local/ssl/openssl.cnf -in /tmp/cert8.req -out /tmp/cert8.result -policy policy_anything rc = 256 FriendlyName = req = Using configuration from /usr/local/ssl/openssl.cnf Check that the request matches the signature Signature ok The Subject's Distinguished Name is as follows countryName :PRINTABLE:'US' stateOrProvinceName :PRINTABLE:'Texas' localityName :PRINTABLE:'Katy' organizationName :PRINTABLE:'InterSoft International Incorporated' organizationalUnitName:PRINTABLE:'Systems Development' emailAddress :IA5STRING:'[EMAIL PROTECTED]' commonName :PRINTABLE:'xp.netterm.com' uniqueIdentifier:unknown object type in 'policy' configuration unable to write 'random state' __________________________________________________ Support InterSoft International, Inc.
