Has anyone had a chance to look at this patch yet? Is it on anyone's "to do" list if not?
Thanks for any feedback. After applying this patch, the instructions for building for NetWare can be found in the "install.nw" file in the root directory. This patch attempts to minimize impact on other platforms through the judicious use of the preprocessor guard "OPENSSL_SYS_NETWARE". It does introduce one new general purpose function "ERR_free_state_table" which we found useful when cleaning up threads. I have applied the patch to the latest 0.9.8 development snapshots and built for both NetWare and Windows. The test suite runs correctly on both platforms with the patch applied. (Thank you for the changes made to get the Windows build working correctly. Everything now builds for Windows with the minor caveat that I still had to remove one reference to "ENGINE_load_gmp" from util\libeay.num to get the shared libraries to link.) This patch is almost identical to the patch submitted against OpenSSL 0.9.7 on June 11. There are a few minor differences. Has anyone had a chance to look at the 0.9.7 patch and consider if it can also be applied in that branch of the development tree? (For your reference I have also attached the 0.9.7 patch if you desire to look at it again.) Thank you for your consideration of this work.
