I might find a moment tomorrow with a little bit of luck.  However,
prime generation is definitely not my field of expertise, so it will
take me some time to figure it out.

Just checked.  It happens with 0.9.8-dev (built from CVS source),
0.9.7d (the Debian release) and 0.9.6m-dev (built from CVS source).
So basically, this is a generic problem, and we've had it for quite a
while.
