i found a nice little demo ssl server that works at:

please glance at this very short source file and tell me why when i hit control+c to stop it, that it won't let me launch it again without first rebooting the computer.
after control+c, relaunch attempts yield the error:
"bind: Address already in use"
if i connect properly and send it a string to print, it prints the string perfectly and exits. subsequent launches work fine. it's just after force-quitting with control+c that it won't let me launch again.
