how can openssl be crosscompile'd ? It seems that ./Configure doesnt recognize common toolchain variables like $(CC), $(LD), ...
Did you try 'make -e'? Idea is to make 'make' respect custom ${CC}. CC variable doesn't have any real meaning to ./Configure anyway... A.
