Sorry for the previous post. ;( The change is bigger: 1. a new parameters should apear in [ CA_default ] section:
utf = yes string_mask = utf8only they should have the same meaning like in [req] section when generating PKCS10 request. 2. a -utf8 command line option is added I attach the diff file for "openssl-0.9.8-beta5".
