The latest code crashes on Solaris Intel 5.8, this is the log output of
compilation.

The segment violation problem is documented in ./PROBLEMS file, "Bugs in 
gcc triggered" section, and there are explicit instructions on how to 
collect data in ./README file. Homework is always appreciated. A.
