Hello, I just joined the list after perusing the mailing list archives for openssl and wpa_supplicant and I would like to know if the OpenSSL maintainers have considered accepting the patch included with wpa_supplicant called openssl-tls-extensions.patch.
I'm trying to get a full open-source WPA and EAP-FAST supplicant working in our wireless infrastructure. When the above-mentioned patch is applied (with a few edits) to openssl-0.9.7 from RHEL 4 Update 2, we have been able to get wpa_supplicant working with WPA and EAP-FAST. Obviously I'd like to avoid patching openssl at all; instead, I'd like to know if you folks would accept the patch which would eventually find its way into RHEL. The patch is located here: http://hostap.epitest.fi/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/hostap/wpa_supplicant/openssl-tls-extensions.patch Thank you for your consideration. /Brian/ -- Brian Long | | | IT Data Center Systems | .|||. .|||.
