[openssl.org #1674] bug report - fipsld not working with Solaris 9 sparc (64 bit architecture) for 32 bit shared library creation.

Hi,

 

I am using fipsld to create 32 bit (using -m32) statically linked shared
object library from fips capable openssl on SOLARIS 9 SPARC. But fipsld
hangs at link step (when creating shared object lib).I guess this is a bug
in fipsld script or openssl?

 

To reproduce the problem please follow the steps mentioned in attached
document.  

 

System info:

uname -a: SunOS qa-sun9 5.9 Generic_117171-12 sun4u sparc SUNW, UltraAX-i2
