I am not sure if this question has been asked earlier, I didn't find
anything relevant while searching the mail archive.
My question is related to symmetric ey operation hardware accleration at
record layer:
a) Is there a clear interface(hooks etc) from where we actually offload
operationa to an engine. i.e. a interface between Openssl library and
Engine.
b) We can surely offload cipher or digest operation from Openssl. But we
cannot do it in one pass i.e. for each cipher & digest we need to send the
message twice to an Engine. Is there a patch upon Openssl which will allow
me to do cipher & digest in one go.
