Up to the OpenSSL team. I'm happy to do any maintenance required, but it's
up to them to merge it - or not.
Given that there are a number of people using the patch now and AES-GCM is
needed for new TLS modes, I'd hope it gets merged.

OpenSSL 1.0 beta 2

Thanks very much, Peter.
Will this be made a part of the 1.0.0 distribution, or will it only be
distributed as a patch?
Thanks,
Paul

Subject: [openssl.org #1935] AES-GCM, AES-CCM, CMAC updated for OpenSSL
1.0 beta 2
See attached file: ibm2.patch
(See attached file: ibm2.patch)
This version fixes all know bugs, a few build and test case problems,
(c) notices in a couple of support files I'd missed and updates the
patch so it'll apply cleanly to
openssl-1.0_beta2
The export notifications from the previous patches are still valid.
As noted previously, IBM is donating this code under the terms of the
OpenSSL license.
Note that CMAC won't work with DES/3DES without mods. New keys are
generated on the fly, but the current code doesn't fix the parity of the
new DES keys.
That could be done, but will make the code uglier and slower - if anyone
really needs DES CMAC let me know and I'll fix that.
Peter
