I had similar problems with other Apache projects.
Take a look at some of your vc project files and
see if they reference a file or resource that is
now unavailable.

In VS 2010, the resources or files that were not found were
ignored.  In VS 2012, the resources or files must exist.
The fix may be to remove the zombie references.
