Hi all,
I recently joined Openssl mailing list. Currently I'm trying to implement
IPv6 support to openssl binary (s_server and s_client) as part of my
work. I saw already few threads in the mailing list archives asking about
IPv6 support. But still it is not fully implemented.
Can I know is there any specific reason not to support IPv6 in openssl
and if I send my patch will it be considered?
Regards,
Bala
There is already a patch that does this. Why re-invent the wheel? But I
agree, it would be nice if it would be added to the product so people don't
have to patch it. We require the ability to be able to use s_client to
test IPv6, and it's a pain having to manually patch OpenSSL for this every
release.
