Dear Openssl team, today I was a little bit suprissed that my certificate request has been rejected due to the requirement that the country code needs to be specified in upper case letters. How does it come that openssl allowed me to create such a request? I don´t know whether this is just something which is only restricted by some CA. Openssl should at least warn when using entering an uncommon country code. Best Regards Heiko Böttger
