Whois the IP? That should work for majority of the CDN. For Amazon, you can distinguish S3 from CloudFront by looking for at the HTTP headers: - X-Amz-Cf-Id, - Via: ... .cloudfront.net (CloudFront), - X-Cache: ... from cloudfront.
