Hi.

I have the original O'Reilly book on OpenSSL (v. 0.9.7) and for the things that it discusses, and the version that it covers, it's quite well written. A lot of the examples cover things that the man pages are a little thin on, so I appreciate that.

But the book is 12 years old, and there's been a lot of functionality added to OpenSSL, and many of the examples in the book use SHA-1 which is probably not good advice.

Any recommendations for a book for someone using the OpenSSL API, as well as possibly making extensions to it, contributing fixes, etc?

Thanks,

-Philip
