FWIW, trying the exact same configure commands on OpenSSL 1.0.2f : perl Configure VC-WIN32 no-asm --prefix=<Path to bin directory> ms\do_ms nmake -f ms\ntdll.mak I was NOT able to reproduce the problem under Windows 7 64 bits using Visual Studio 2013 and Perl 5.22.1. Everything goes fine. Michel.
