I've tested the apache-proxy as well, in combination with mod_proxy. Works
well. But, we decided to go for stunnel
(http://mike.daewoo.com.pl/computer/stunnel/ for homepage, slow site, just
wait. Downloads go faster from the UK mirror) because
it provides ssl-enabled proxy-ing for more than just https. IMAPS-ssl works as
well :)
