Hi, I am using Net::SSLeay 1.03 with perl 5.004 to connect to a remote ssl site via a proxy, and everything seems fine if the site is running Apache, but the other day the connect failed (with 0) and the state went to 23RSHA when I tried to connect to a site running 'CommerceServer400/1.0' (the site was https://www.fimacis.com <https://www.fimacis.com> ). I tried a second site running this server and had the same problem. The first thing I was wondering about was whether the CONNECT statement I issue to get through the proxy is passing info to the remote server, my connect string is as follows: CONNECT www.fimacis.com:443 <http://www.fimacis.com:443> HTTP/1.0 User-Agent: Mozilla/4.05 Connection: Keep-Alive Is it possible that the remote webserver requires HTTP/1.1 or Mozilla/4.5 or somesuch, or is this info purely used by the proxy and not passed on? I don't know why everything is fine for some webservers and yet for others it fails. Can anyone please enlighten me?
