I'm trying to set up stunnel (3.8p4) between to BSDI (BSD/OS) boxes. One of the boxes ("Local") is behind a firewall and gets NAT'ed when talking to the world, and the other one ("Remote") is directly connected to the world. My goal is to set this up such that one can initiate a tcp connection to the Remote (public) machine and have it tunnel in to the Local one. Is this possible with stunnel _without_ using ppp (as described in the "Setting up PPP over stunnel (Make your own VPN)" example)? I've got the standard "forward an unsecure port from one machine to another" part working, but can't figure out conceptually how to do the reverse. I'd rather not use ppp but if that's the only way then I'll go in that direction. (Don't worry, this is being done in close coordination with the person who manages the firewall :-)) Thanks, and sorry for cross-posting to the two lists. -T.H. ______________________________________________________________________ OpenSSL Project http://www.openssl.org User Support Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Automated List Manager [EMAIL PROTECTED]
