I tried compiling 0.9.8 yesterday on Win32 (VC++ 6.0). There were two problems, one was a fix from 0.9.7 which wasn't in 0.9.8 (IMPLEMENT_GLOBAL) which I've now fixed. The other is a linker error with the ENGINE_load_gmp() function which isn't implemented by default but mkdef.pl picks it up from engine.h. Needs some OPENSSL_USE_GMP #ifdef round it and mkdef.pl modifying appropriately. Steve. -- Dr Stephen N. Henson.
