As I said before this isn't supposed to happen. I can't reproduce this in pure C code so I assume there's a problem somewhere with your code. BIO_seek() doesn't work on memory BIOs but that's not a problem. Also you should check that BIO_read() returns >0 not just !=-1. If that doesn't help I'd suggest you compare the PEM data in your string and that produced by writing it to a file with the pem routines directly. Steve. -- Dr Stephen N. Henson.
