hi everyboy, i'm new in openssl. i'm trying to create an ap over linux and
add security using wpa2 eap-tls. i use debian sarge kernel 2.6.13 and want
to use openssl to generate certificates which after will be used with
freeradius and hostapd.first installed openssl from debian installation
cd's, but i could not create certificates as i needed, so i downloaded
openssl 0.9.7i and 0.9.8a and tried to compile, now, if i try to untar 0.7i
system says there are a missing file. so tried 8a but when i tried to run
"openssl" system says "command not found", well i thought it was an error
from source so
i deleted source and what was installed and tried to compile again but it's
not possible now so i think i delete something i should not. in first
compilation i get many warning messages but was possible to "make install",
now (after deletion) ./config seems to be ok but when try "make", system
shows this:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -letence
link.app error 1
/build_apps error 1
So here are my questions:
1) why when i tried "openssl" system returned "command not found"?? when
installed from debian cd's it do works. may be a wrong installation?? how
may i correct this??
2) why now i get this error when try to make?? how could solve??
ok, i know we are next christmas and every body want to relax, but could any
body help??
