Thanks a lot for that clarification. Actually i was a bit confused about this since in some places I read that there is a patch that can be installed to enable BSAFE. In some other place I read that BSAFE is now available as part of Openssl currently. coz of this, I thought I had to explicitly give some option so that a non-bsafe version of Openssl is built.
